Welcome to the OnTrent website. This site tells you more about the River Trent, the OnTrent project and what you can do as an organisation, community group or a land manager along the Trent.

OnTrent Forum was held 13th May 2008 at National Water Sports Centre, Nottingham

90 representatives from over 40 organisations heard speakers from Natural England, the Environment Agency, the NFU, Trent Vale Landscape Partnership and the British Geological Society, as well as a speaker from the Netherlands. Topics covered also included birds of the Trent valley, the history of sand and gravel extraction and Watermead Country Park.

The day was very well received, with 100% of those completing feedback forms finding the day interesting, enjoyable and useful to their work.
