The Trent Vale Landscape Partnership is a three-year scheme to conserve, enhance and celebrate the cultural identity of the Trent Vale between Newark and Gainsborough. The focus is on the communities, habitats and heritage that make the area so distinctive. It is funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund with match funding and in-kind support coming from our partners, volunteers and community groups.

To read more about Trent Vale please visit their website.

The partnership is working together to deliver a range of projects including archaeological investigations, creation of a Trent Vale grazing herd, renovation of a key heritage building, conservation of hundreds of hectares of vital wildlife habitat, a small grants scheme for community groups and farmers, environmental and heritage education work, improved moorings and fishing pegs, heritage festivals, visitor guides and much more! Through the project we are also create exciting education and training opportunities for hundreds of people.

Trent Vale is a major delivery project by OnTrent. The project has a dedicated team of staff bringing forward the different parts of the work, all based between Newark and Gainsborough.
